Horseback Riding

Ride along the river or ride with the cowboys on a working cattle ranch. The Rio Sonora is cowboy country. Horseback riding requires 10 days advance notice.


From traditional adobe to Colonial and straw bale, we have interesting and unique architecture to share with you.


The Rio Sonora Riparian Zone is home to many bird species including the elegant trogon and this vermillion fly catcher.
