Banámichi

The pueblo of Banámichi was founded in the year 1639 in the valley of the Sonora River. It is a town of 2,000 people filled with colonial architecture, a beautiful town square and a town park with a statue of Opata warriors supporting a large petroglyph that was discovered in a field nearby.
